The foundation supports a variety of liberal and environmental causes, and has been a major supporter of the anti-fracking movement. From 2009 to 2012, the foundation gave over $3 million to dozens of advocacy groups and other institutions that oppose fracking, including $175,000 to produce the documentary ''Gasland''. It is based in Ithaca, New York and is chaired by Park's daughter, Adelaide Park Gomer. Jon Jensen is the Executive Director.
